Simol: jacks and supports made to measure

For over four decades, one of the places to go for support wheels and jacks, stabilisers and telescopic lifts for farm machines and trailers is near Reggio Emilia, at the headquarters of Simol.

The company has carved out a place in the sun with a range of high quality products, some of them made to suit each individual customer’s requirements and ensure maximum safety.

Simol has always invested in technological innovation and, at the next Parisian SIMA farm machine fair, it will launch for French buyers its new Easy-Fit handle, a device that made its debut at the EIMA International fair in Bologna in November.

The ergonomic handle design also ensures quick attachment or detachment under a patent held by the Italian firm, which has also patented the DG-W model, another of its products foregrounded in Paris.

The DG-W, which won the Technical Novelty award at EIMA International 2012, is a support jack adaptable to smaller gear boxes without any modification in the dimensions or design of the component. As a result, a two-speed mechanism can also be used on smaller telescopic devices, giving the user two working speeds: a slow speed for loading and a fast one for quicker parking or attachment to the power unit.

Thanks to this and other devices, Simol now exports to about fifty countries and has a consolidated position on international markets.
