Fendt 200 Vario Series tractors are making a stopover in Verona for presentation at Fieragricola of three versions from the German manufacturer's stable, the narrow V with minimum width of 1.07 meters for tight vineyard rows, the intermediate F with a large and comfortable cab built for 1.90 to 3.00 meter inter-row crops, vineyards with generous covered areas, fruit orchards and greenhouses, and the P wide wheelbase specialists for work in rows of 2.2 to 5 meters and a minimum of 1.68 meters. These 200 Series power plants, ranging from 70 to 110 hp for the V and F and 90 to 110 for the P, are 3-cylinder engines tailored by Agco Power for the Fendt specialties for turning in brilliant and silenced performances. They come equipped as standard for burning biodiesel and are built to meet the requirements of the operations they will be called on to perform. Among their strong points are low fuel consumption at 1500 rpm for inter-row work as well as at maximum speed of 40 km/hr running at a low 1750 rpm regime.

To further lower the fuel consumption bar these engines are equipped with AGRex external exhaust gas recirculation shown to be very advantageous over internal recycling systems. Moreover with the continuously variable transmission – given a timely update related to the compact size of these specialties – an ideal speed can be selected continuously from 20 meters per hour up to 40 km/hr. Speed for work on slopes can be regulated seamlessly by the driver which means maximum safety on steep terrain. Another Fendt high performer is the hydraulic circuit dedicated to the implements with six axial piston pumps and compatability with biological oils and equipped with a Load Sensing system providing the flow rate actually needed, up a106 liters/min flow collection. Also important are the cab features including an ergonomic drivers seat and a  front axle suspension with level control and lateral anti-roll stabilization while dampening shocks and maintaining the height of work in rows uniform. The F and V versions also feature a front axle with a 10° swing to ensure excellent adaptation to the terrain and traction as well as optimum steering and braking.
