ADR renews its range

The ADR group has invested heavily in research and development in recent years; in particular, the company has concentrated its efforts on reorganising its work, with the aim of revising the offerings from scratch, expanding it and improving it. EIMA 2022 is the venue where is presents the results of these efforts. In the exhibition spaces of the Lombardy-based company (based in Uboldo, Varese) visitors will find the new EASYDRIVE SYSTEM (awarded as Technical Innovation EIMA 2022) & SMARTDRIVE SYSTEM technologies/systems, designed to improve the agility of manoeuvring and the safety of agricultural trailers, reducing maintenance operations to a minimum - reads a company note. With this low maintenance perspective, ADR has rethought the entire family of mechanical suspensions, pairing the already well-known Ka suspensions with load capacities from 4 to 16 tonnes with the Tandem Kb suspensions with load capacities from 4 to 48 tonnes.

The new strong and robust suspensions feature an innovative braking system, suitable for trailers with a maximum capacity of 12 tonnes per axle. Low maintenance is also at the heart of the design of the ISOBUS-compatible ADR/PTG system. This technology allows operators to change tyre pressures on the move in a matter of minutes, under all conditions of use and with maximum tyre efficiency in terms of load capacity, traction and (minimised) compaction. The system can also be equipped with the new Dual Function axles, which allow the steering to be set in a self-steering or controlled configuration, without having to replace any components and only acting on the hydraulic supply through the tractor's distributors.
