ADR: the new KA maintenance free suspensions

t EIMA International, on the stand of the ADR Group (based in Uboldo, in the province of Varese), the new KA series of mechanical suspensions, with load capacities from 4 to 6 tonnes, will be on show. As the manufacturer explains in a note, this is a range that incorporates and enhances all the strengths of ADR suspensions, but is especially prized because it does not require routine maintenance.

The latter - the Lombardy-based company explains - have been eliminated thanks to the introduction of pins on the spring bushes, i.e. in the key points of the suspension. This solution has allowed the manufacturer to increase the component's resistance to mechanical stress and to improve its stability, especially in the most demanding operating situations. Derived from the automotive off-road sector, the suspension's elastic elements not only eliminate periodic maintenance, but also reduce and mitigate the farming trailer's oscillations.

Furthermore, thanks to the introduction of two parabolic leaf springs, ADR has managed to considerably reduce the weight of the suspension without reducing its elasticity. The anchorage of the axle - says the Uboldo company - follows the evolution of ADR products and is particularly strong, further increasing resistance to mechanical stress.

At the stand of the Varese-based manufacturer, the spotlight will also be on other bestsellers in the range, such as the Hydrocompact hydraulic suspension - a valid alternative to traditional mechanical leaf spring suspensions - the Teknoax 2.0 intelligent axle, and the VARIOTRACK axle, which adapts the track width to different operating requirements and is therefore particularly suitable for high-end trailers for crop irrigation.
