Corima system: harvesting and cleaning tomatoes

There is important news for the tomato harvesters by Corima. On the eve of the Bologna event, this announcement came from the Marche company (headquartered in Cingoli in the province of Macerata), which has always been specialized in making machines for harvesting tomatoes, sugar beets, sprayers, centrifugal separators, and olive presses. The innovation developed by the Corima technicians consists of a suction device for the leaves, thanks to which it is possible to optimize the cleaning of tomatoes during the harvesting phase, considerably reducing the time of the entire production cycle of the product and improving the results. Positioned above the final tomato selection ribbon, the suction system eliminates any residues such as leaves or other debris, interacting with the cleaning work of the Odenberg-Tomra selectors (among the best on the market) that represent the heart of the Corima tomato harvesters. The new suction technology developed by the company from Marche thus completes the profile of a range of machines that are already prized by harvesting professionals for their high performance and quality of work. In other words, for the quality of the final product. In a note, the Macerata company specifies, “Our new suction system is part of the continuous improvement of our machines, from the tomato harvesters to the sprayers, from the beet harvesters to the centrifugal separators. This is an improvement we wanted and pursued in order to offer to the market the state of the art in tomato harvesting technology.”
