Enoliexpo 2026, the Bari exhibition dedicated to technologies for the olive-oil and viticulture-oenological supply chains saw attendance by 278 brands, on an exhibition area of over 17,000 m2 including both the New Pavilion and the External Area of the hosting exhibition center. A breakdown of the Italian exhibiting companies shows that 63% of them come from Central and Southern Italy and 37% from the North. Foreign companies accounted for 18% of the total exhibitors in attedance. Some 10,000 operators were present with visitors from North Africa, Greece, Turkey and the Balkans.

The exhibition focused on the latest and most innovative technologies for the sectors featured at the event: machinery, equipment, and digital systems for olive groves and vineyards, processing plants in the mill and cellar, and equipment for production, bottling, labeling, and packaging.

An extensive program of meetings rounded out the exhibition's collateral activities, with over 30 events hosted in the two conference rooms set up inside the New Pavilion and the Apulia Region stand. Experts, researchers, university professors, and representatives of trade associations sparked discussions and debates on innovation, efficiency, and development prospects for the olive oil and wine sectors.

In particular, two events bear mentioning with regard to olive-growing. The first, "The 21st-Century Olive Grower: Challenges and Opportunities," with professors from the Universities of Bari and Foggia, sought to assess the future prospects of professionals in the sector in technical, social, and economic terms. The second was an interactive talk show dedicated to olive tree pruning, featuring Giorgio Pannelli, founder of a school dedicated to this discipline, for a scientific and practical discussion with operators on the most proper pruning techniques.

An integral part of the event was the second edition of Beertech, showcasing technologies, machinery, and services for craft beer production. This year, the event featured a roundtable discussion entitled "Innovation and Opportunities for the Beer Supply Chain," along with other in-depth discussions on regulations, growth strategies, case histories, research, and innovation for growing market segments such as gluten-free beer. A new feature at this edition of the event was the Enoli Job Arena, a space dedicated to bringing together job supply and demand, where potential candidates could submit their resumes for companies looking to hire.

FederUnacoma participated in the event with an institutional stand featuring informational materials on the Federation's activities, particularly EIMA International 2026, which was presented at a press conference for operators and local press in the early afternoon of the opening day. During the meeting, FederUnacoma's General Director, Simona Rapastella, presented the latest updates on the Bologna trade fair's new developments and organizational phases, then outlined the current state of the agricultural machinery market in Apulia.  Registrations are expected to increase by 21.6% in 2025, with 1,820 vehicles (compared to approximately 1,500 in 2024), with an incremental rate that is 13.7% higher than the Italian average. Regional sales were particularly driven by the segment of tractors for vineyards and orchards which, with 913 vehicles, took up more than half of the local demand for machinery, reflecting the growing specialization of the primary sector in high value-added crops in the region which is first in Italy for olive-growing area (346,000 hectares) and second for viticulture (96,000 hectares).

Technologies and crops are always center stage at Enoliexpo, which confirms its biennial recurrence and its return to the Fiera del Levante in March 2028.
