Performance, versatility, design, comfort. The new McCormick X6 Xtrautility line features a Stage V engine with DOC-DPF-SCR technology. The two range models are powered by the F36 3.6-liter, 16-valve engine: The X6.125, capable of delivering 119 horsepower, and the X6.135 with 127 horsepower. The two tractors feature a high-capacity fuel tank (170 liters) that increases the machine's autonomy and high-profile technological solutions that reduce fuel consumption by 10% (manufacturer's data).

A further novelty is a maximum torque, which has been increased on both models to reach 518Nm at 1300 rpm. The hydraulic system is closed-circuit (CCLS) with 110 liters/minute, with 38 liters dedicated to steering. The manufacturer explains in a technical note that this solution provides, on the one hand, more excellent hydraulic performance, and increased productivity in front loader work and, on the other, lower fuel consumption and less noise in operation.

Among the strong points of the X6 Xtrashift hydraulics is the "Power Beyond" technology, enabling all 110 liters/ minute of flow to be fully used.

On the two X6 Xtrashift utilities, the manufacturer has provided seven spool valves, two ventral and three mechanicals.

For the latter, the flow selector doubles the outputs, and a flow regulator facilitates operations for implements requiring certain flow rates. In addition, it is possible to provide two more spool valves, always at the rear and always electronic. The transmission ensures the right speed for each specific application through the consolidated 36+12 scheme with HML (3 gears under load) and Reverse Power Shuttle with modulation of engagement. With the super-reducer, the speeds become 48+16.

The electronically controlled rear lift has a load capacity of 6,000 kilos, and the auto PTO system activates/deactivates the PTO at a given lift height. Moreover, there is an anti-pitch system to compensate for unevenness of the ground during work and transport. The M30 front loader and the front power lift capable of lifting 2,250 kilos, with optional front PTO, are optional and can be combined with each other. High-profile high-tech solutions also for the driver's seat.

The installation of the Stage V after-treatment system under the hood and the positioning of the SCR system out of sight makes it possible to obtain not only a compact line of the vehicle, in line with the new McCormick family feeling, but also complete frontal visibility. Visibility is enhanced by the 4-pillar cab and the wider roof, with an opening hatch, for natural ventilation of the cabin.

Operator comfort is optimized by the mechanical cab suspension system and panhard bar, the ergonomic solutions on the control console (equipped with a new joystick) and the suspended front axle with brakes. Lastly, the technological equipment is particularly rich with satellite guidance (X25 Monitor, AGS-2 Antenna and AES-35 steering wheel, which helps to carry out precise work) and the Isobus system to make the tractor communicate with the implements. Furthermore, thanks to McCormick Fleet & Remote Diagnostic Management, it is possible to manage the fleet of tractors, reducing operating costs and establishing the productivity of the machinery by monitoring the operating parameters and telemetry of the tractor. Finally, remote diagnostics enable machine downtime to be shortened by remotely intervening for software updates.

These features are compatible with Industry 4.0 and tax credit requirements.
