Olimac presents itself at the starting line of Agritechnica with all its flagship products, as well as an interesting novelty. Indeed, the company from Cuneo – with its main headquarters in Margarita – will offer the audience at the event in Lower Saxony a special "windrower" applied to the maize header DragoGT. The equipment is equipped with an auger that gathers and conveys maize residues, cobs, and chopped stalks into a single row. In this way – as stated in a note from the company – the windrow is formed without impurities.

The material can thus be easily collected by a self-loading trolley. The system allows for creating added value for the operator, as the residual biomass can be used to produce biomethane. Indeed, European Union legislation imposes significant restrictions on the use of food crops for fuel production.

Nevertheless, the solution proposed by Olimac's technicians simplifies the collection of maize residues, excluding grains, and channels them towards biogas production, in Hanover, the Drago2 and DragoGold heads will also be present, which, in recent years, alongside DragoGT, have received several technical awards at major European industry fairs such as EIMA International or FIMA in Zaragoza.

The main feature of the maize heads DragoGT and Drago2 are the automatic self-adjusting suspension deck plates that ensure a loss-free harvest. DragoGold, on the other hand, is a high-performance head for cutting sunflowers - as well as sorghum and hemp - with a hydraulic rotary stalk crusher that enables cutting the stalk at ground level and collecting only the flower.
