The BL0/EX-100 mulcher, compactness and maneuverability

BL0/EX Bite Limiter technology makes its debut on 5-ton excavators with the BL0/EX-100 mulcher. The BL0/EX model is one of the smallest fixed-tool mulchers on the market and is capable of shredding light vegetation, shrubs and trees up to 8 cm in diameter. It is particularly suitable for maintenance work along roadsides and railway lines, canal banks, rivers and lakes. The “compact” FAE mulcher offers first-class performance even in the handling of wildlife areas and the care of green, commercial and sports areas. The incorporated Bite Limiter technology makes the BL0/EX-100 head stand out for its productivity and operational efficiency; the rotor, in fact, is equipped with special wear-resistant steel profiles that limit the depth of action of the tools, lowering the necessary power feed and ensuring a constant working speed with any type of wood. Bite Limiter technology also optimizes fuel consumption and increases the reliability of the forage harvester, by preventing possible rotor stalls. Its compact size – achieved by integrating the hydraulic block with regulator valve into the direct-drive hydraulic motor, making it possible to do away with the drainage line and insert the attachment into the frame – and reduced maintenance times are other pluses of this model, which stands out for its remarkable ease of maneuverability. The new BL0/EX can be equipped with BL/MINI blades and C/3/MINI tools and is available in the widths: BL0/EX-50, BL0/EX-75 and BL0/EX-100.
