The production roots of Ceccato Olindo of San Giorgio delle Pertiche, in the province of Padua, go back a long way, to 1889, starting from a foundry specialised in metalworking, to a company that currently has a wide range of equipment in its catalogue: log splitters, bio chippers, grass and pruning shredders, pellet mills, weeders, crushers, ginners and mounted fertiliser spreaders.

In particular, there are dozens of models of log splitters produced by Ceccato, including electric, petrol, pto - in the universal joint version with 3-point tractor connection - or in the dual electric/pto version.

At the last EIMA, Ceccato presented an updated version of the Bull 20 tonne log splitter designed for professional use.

The equipment, weighing 375 kg, consists of a large cast steel blade, which slides on a bushing guide that preserves the piston and the frame even under maximum stress, mounts a bench with two different cutting heights of 54 and 110 cm and has an additional drive system with controls located on the upper part of the machine that allow work even on very large logs.

The Bull 20 Ton is available in both the electric version with Ceccato engine - with double pump for higher working speed - and in the PTO versions with tractor attachment and combined (electric and PTO).

Other features of the equipment include two travel wheels made of a special rubber mixture that prevents stones from getting stuck, a safety arch and an adjustable end-of-stroke control system. A mechanical log lifting system is also available as an option.
