The newmodels from the McCormick stable

Renewed ranges, attention to technological content and high performance are the strengths of the McCormick brand for the 2017 edition of Agritechnica. The highlights at the Argo Tractors Group stand are the new X8, X6.55 and X5 Tier 4i series

McCormick presents itself at Agritechnica 2017 with a full line of tractors, from the high power of the X8 to the upgraded ranges of Heavy, Medium and Light Utility segments. The centre of attention for their high performance are the three X8 Series models, equipped with 6- cylinder Betapower Fuel Efficiency Tier4 Final engines, suspended on a chassis frame with 264 Hp, 286 hp and 310 Hp, state-of-the-art technology and aggressive look Cv, equipped with a four-stage continuous transmission with 40 km/h ECO speeds at 1,300 rpm and 50 km/h ECO at 1,600 rpm. The high technological level of the McCormick X8 is emphasized by the standard equipment with ISOBUS certified system to manage the operation of equipment that is compatible with this technology. For precision farming, the EazySteer systems and Precision Steering Management are available. Of particular note is the four-upright, high-visibility cab with automatic air conditioning, semi-active anti-damping suspension system, pneumatic suspension seat, retractable instructor seat, adjustable multifunctional armrest, bluetooth radio system and large refrigerated compartment. The McCormick X6.55 was also a highlight of the stand, with its 3.6-litre Deutz Tier 4 Final engine, heir of the McCormick X5. This model comes with a maximum power of 126 Hp, and offers two types of transmission with hydraulic invertn er: 12+12 or 48+16 with HMLe creeper. High performance is ensured by the rear lift, with a lift capacity of 6,000 kg, and by the 66 l/min open-centre hydraulic circuit. The range, in compliance with the Mother Regulation, is completed by the X6.45 and X6.35 models, respectively with maximum powers of 119 Hp and 110 Hp. For this range, the maximum available rear wheel was increased from 34” to 38”. Among the new options, a twopoint mechanical suspension for the cabin and the readiness for the innovative Isobus and satellite navigation assistance systems. In the Medium Utility segment, McCormick introduces the new X5 Series with Deutz 3.6-litre Tier 4 Interim engine for the CEE markets, with only DOC catalytic converter and SCRfree. The range, available in the three powers of 99 Hp, 107 Hp and 113 Hp, is equipped with a 12+12 transmission with Hi-Lo, HML, creeper and 4 optional PTO speeds, mechanical or hydraulic inverter and a powerful 60 l/min hydraulic system. The rear lift can be controlled with the ELS (Ergonomic Lift System) and offers a lifting capacity of 4,500 kg. The compact dimensions (2.36 m wheelbase) and 3,800 Kg weight, combined with 34” rear tyres, make it the ideal tractor for typical farming activities, also with an optional front loader.
