Alliance launches Agri Nova, the new R-1 tires
Agri Nova is the name of Alliance's new range of R-1 Bias tires (characterized by their agricultural tread and bias plies). The latest additions to the Alliance range are designed to be paired with medium-small power tractors capable of meeting the needs of modern agriculture in terms of traction, driving comfort and durability. The main features of these models include the triangular design of the lugs, the number of which - states the Yokohama Group company - has been increased to increase the vehicle's traction. Another plus of the Agri Nova line is the design of the corner strips, equipped with multi-functional mudguards integrated into the surface of the studs and characterized by the smooth contours of the cavities. These solutions – says the manufacturer – offer stability and optimal self-cleaning capabilities. It should also be noted that the Agri Nova range features a wider tread and a larger footprint that distributes contact pressure evenly, thus reducing soil compaction. The new Alliance tires are available in 60 sizes and 111 individual SKUs (a unique alphanumeric code used to identify a specific model) with diameters from 12 to 42 inches, and include various load indexes and stratifications, as well as tubeless (TL) and tubed (TT) versions. The introduction of SKU codes is the result of a strategy aimed at making it easier for both retailers and operators to choose the products best suited to their needs, compatible with 2WD and MFWA (Mechanical Front Wheel Drive) tractors for use in different types of applications.
