Dondi in Bastia Umbra in the Province of Perugia arrived at the EIMA Show for the debut of two of the manufacturers combined cultivators designed for minimum tillage. The first unveiled was the Speedplow SP3M, a model equipped with two rows of curved Michel ballasts for decompacting the soil and mixing it with tillage residues and a double-row element of rear undulated discs with flexible harrow teeth for crushing the soil and levelling. A Speedplow SP3M strong point is the ability of the cultivator to work at the speed of 8 to 10 kilometers/h to the depth of 25-30 centimeters totally decompacting the soil with the Michel ballasts. Dondi’s proprietor Lamberto Pettirossi told Mondo Macchina/Machinery World, “This way the formation of big clods is avoided and successive operations are facilitated for refining the soil and levelling the terrain with the double row of harrow discs and rear flexible harrow teeth.” The Bastia Umbra manufacturer is bringing the Speedplow SP3M to market with working widths from 2.5 to 6 meters and ballast compatible with ground clearance from 65 to 80 centimeters and this cultivator can be fitted with a section of front discs for burying vegetable residues. The Junior cultivator models combine three tiers of of work with a front disc section for the first operation of burying residues, a cultivator equipped with two rows of teeth for working the soil down to a depth of 35 centimeters and a double rear roller for refining and levelling the terrain. The Junior is also available in a version equipped with spikes, roller cage, a double row of undulated discs and roller rings. The Juniors are built with working widths of 3 meters along with the Big version, 4, 4.5 and 5 meters, and the Maxi at 5, 6, and 7 meters with weights of up to 900 kilograms.
