A new range of compact tractors for small producers and the amateur segment. Kubota launches the EK1 series, born from a collaboration with the Indian company Escorts Limited, which has been operating in the automotive and agricultural machinery sector since 1960. The new compact tractors created by Kubota and Escorts Limited - in this co-branded initiative - debut with the EK1-261 model, powered by a 3-cylinder 1318 cc Stage V engine that delivers 25 horsepower and are equipped with a generous 24-litre tank, to guarantee greater fuel management autonomy. The four driving wheels are assisted by a mechanical transmission (9 forward gears and 3 reverse gears) which improves the operating precision of the machine and allows it to adapt to any type of work. This versatility is enhanced by efficient hydraulic power steering and a hydraulic pump that delivers 20 litres per minute, improving loader responsiveness and increasing its rear lift capacity up to 750 kg. The PTO is available in two speeds: 540 and 540 Eco. Despite its compact size, the EK1 range sacrifices nothing in terms of ergonomics - the flat platform and large operator station offer a functional and well-designed layout - and driving comfort, while the LED road lights provide ideal lighting for the work area. The EK1-261 can be equipped with three different types of tyres; agricultural, industrial and for lawns. These new products from Kubota-Escorts Limited will be available at the end of the year.
