F344, the innovative tyre by Alliance

A time for launches for the Alliance brand. At Euroforest, an exhibition dedicated to forestry held from June 21 to 23 in Dijon (France), the Dutch group launched the new F344 tyre, a low inflation pressure model intended for forestry use. The strong point of the F344 is the Elit technology (Engineered Low Inflation Tire) which, for the same load, allows you to work with half the air pressure compared to that of the other tyres: just 2.5 bar compared to 4.5-5 usually used in forestry applications. Working with a low inflation pressure - explains a technical note from the Dutch company - means having a wider footprint and, therefore, less soil compaction, higher traction, and low fuel consumption. And of course even more comfortable steering for the operator. Furthermore, the special tread compounds ensure high resistance to cuts and chipping, while the steel reinforcements and the double reinforced heel offer protection against punctures and better stability (because they prevent slippage on the rim). Another feature worthy of note is the particular angle of the tread cleats, designed to enhance the grip, traction and self-cleaning properties of the new Alliance tyres. The F344 are available with 20 PR lining, in sizes 710/40-24.5 for 24.5 rims and in sizes 800/400-26.5, 710/45-26.5 and 750/55-26, 5 for 26.5 rims.
