The BCS Group is preparing to arrive at the Verona trade fair with a line-up of the manufacturer's most prized products in the ranges of the group's three trademarks, BCS, Ferrari and Pasquali. Making its debut in Italy will be the 660 HY WS hydrostatic mower, the first of its type built by BCS given a lavish launch at the Agritechnica in Hanover (see the December 2013 issue of MachineryWorld). For Ferrari, spotlights will be trained on the Cromo K60 isodiametric tractor available in central articulation or steering wheel versions configurated for haymaking. Among the many noteworthy features of the K60 is the 48 HP Kubota engine equipped a 24-speed tranmsmission (12FW+12RV) with reverser, a clutch and multi-disk brakes with oil bath lubrication, permanent 4-wheel drive with mechanical front and rear differential locking and a harmonized European standards low noise cab. Furthermore, the new transmission comes with the OS-Frame which, with one single transmission shaft and one central joint, guarantees the maximum mechanical performance and provides excellent stability on slopes thanks to the joint in the middle of the tractor allowing front axle oscillate by up to 15° with respect to the rear, without any sacrifice of ground clearance. These points are important for the work the Cromo K60 is cut out for, in row crops, greenhouses and nurseries as well as summer and winter maintenance of green areas. Coming up under the Pasquali trademark are the Eos 5.60/6.60 RS isodiametric drive tractors with steered wheels, available in mono-directional or reversible versions. Like the Cromo K60, these compact tractors with high ground clearance and a very low center of gravity are built for specific operations in vineyards, orchards, greenhouses and, in general, groundskeeping. And again, like their Ferrari cousins, these Eos models mount the new transmission which comes with the OS-Frame and a 4-cylinder direct injection Kohler engine rated at 49 HP. The 24-speed gear 12FW+12RV with synchronized reverser ensures driver comfort by facilitating driving as well as high performance. These Pasquali 4 equal wheel specialists are also equipped with a clutch featuring multi-disk brakes with oil bath lubrication and 4-wheel drive and planetary gearboxes on the 4 wheels which ensure great reliability and reflect the careful attention given to design in keeping with the esthetics of the most recent tractors marketed by the Lombardy group.
