Hitachi Italia, compact and powerful blowers
In the blowers sector, Hitachi Fercad Powertools Italia Spa, based in Altavilla Vicentina, presents the RB36DL model with lithium battery. As explained by the manufacturer in a technical note, this is a lightweight and compact machine, designed to offer maximum ergonomics to users without sacrificing anything in terms of performance. With a weight of only three kilogrammes, the Hitachi Fercad Powertools blower is capable of delivering a volume of air equal to 680 m3/hour at a speed of 45 m/s, which, in turbo mode (the 36 V brushless motor has four “normal” speeds, plus a fifth turbo speed) reaches 800 m3/hour with a 53 m/s output speed. The RB36DL model can be fitted with the BL36200 long battery life backpack, fitted in turn with a vertical control panel so the operator can quickly glance to check the remaining battery charge even when the tool is in operation. In addition to this, a power cable is provided, which can be used on the right or left side, as well as a 36 V and 750 Wh lithium-ion battery. To optimize the user’s comfort during use, Hitachi Fercad Powertools has designed a backpack with padding designed to minimize fatigue. The BL36200 backpack weighs one kilogramme, with a charging time of about ten hours. Among the other models in the Hitachi Fercad Powertools catalogue, the RB24EAP blower deserves special mention, equipped with the environmentally friendly New PureFire 23.9 cc engine that delivers 1.2 Hp, with a top air flow speed of 76 m/s.
