At the Manitou stand at EIMA International, visitors can discover the new MLT 961-160 V+L NewAgXL range of telescopic handlers, powered by a four-cylinder 156 hp Yanmar Stage V engine. Designed for agricultural use, these machines can lift up to six tons and reach a nine-meter height.

The transmission offers top-level performance thanks to the "M-Vario Plus" CVT system made up of two radial piston hydraulic motors powered by a hydraulic pump. High performance is also ensured by the telescopic boom, for which the French Group's technicians have succeeded in obtaining essential productivity values by intervening both on the movement circuit (the oil flow is 200 l/min) and on the size of the components. The new Manitou telehandlers are also appreciated for several ergonomic solutions that facilitate the operator's work inside the cabin. In fact, from the driver's seat, it is possible to optimally manage the telescopic boom thanks to a camera placed on the head of the boom itself and the broad view offered by the windows. Comfort is the hallmark of the cab's soundproofing (maximum noise level 69 dB), the multifunction joystick on the JSM floating armrest with AutoPower, and Easy Step technology, which allows the cab to be lowered safely thanks to optimal visibility of the step.

On a technical note, the manufacturer points out that this solution allows the user to climb into the cab with his back straight, thus reducing arm and lumbar fatigue. Finally, it is worth mentioning the Ecostop technology that automatically stops the engine when the machine is idling and without the driver in the cab.
