Eima Energy 2021 presented very interesting machines for the bioenergy sector, attracting the interest of visitors and buyers from home and abroad. Bioenergy appears more and more to be a fundamental component of both today's energy mix and the mix we hope for in the future. The Mantuan company Negri, based in Campitello di Marcaria, displayed the P70 pellet mill, one of the most efficient machines for transforming wood chips into small pressed granules, the "pellet". This pressing doubles the calorific power of the raw wood material. Pellets can be obtained from any type of wood chips (such as fir, hazel, larch, bramble, chestnut husks) as long as the material fed into the pellet mill is small and has a moisture content of between 10% and 15%. The processing cycle of the machine ensures that the refined wood chips, placed in a single vertical hopper, are pushed by two compressor rollers towards the exit holes of the die where they take on the classic cylindrical shape with a diameter of 6 mm. All versions can be supplied with a larger hopper (maximum load of 30 kilos) equipped with an automatic loader with sorting grid and auger that mechanically drives the wood chips towards the two rollers, without operator intervention. The P70 is available with single-phase electric motor 4 Hp - 3 kW, which achieves a production of 25/40 kg/h, with a three-phase electric motor 5.5 Hp - 4 kW for a production rate of 50/70 kg/h, or in a version with tractor connection (min. 15 Hp - 11 kW) for a production rate of 50/70 kg/h. The models with electric motors are extremely easy to move thanks to their wheels. All machines are built in compliance with all safety regulations. The equipment includes two compression rollers, a 23 mm hardened steel die, a ground unload device (545 mm), and a hopper equipped with an automatic loader with auger and sorting grid for the P70TC versions.
