The Veneto-based company Rotomec (headquartered in Nogara, in the province of Verona), specialised in the design and production of technologies for working the soil and machinery for gardening and landscaping, presents its line of post hole diggers at EIMA International. Post hole diggers - the manufacturer emphasises in a technical note - are simple and durable working tools commonly used to dig holes in the ground. The holes - says the Rotomec note - are then used to plant trees, poles (for vineyards but also for lighting) and fencing.

The range offered by the Verona-based company consists of two models: the 200-512 for tractors with between 18 and 40 horsepower and the 300-512 for tractors with between 18 and 50 horsepower. Apart from the different power requirements, the two Rotomec post hole diggers have a very similar construction profile. Both are equipped with a sturdy frame of reinforced tubes and high-strength casing assemblies, specifically designed to provide the operator with great reliability, whatever the application.

The post hole diggers are available with diameters of 15, 23, 30, 46 and 61 centimetres. All versions, except the smallest, are equipped with a double spiral. It should be noted that the post hole diggers spirals are fully welded and are equipped with a welded reinforcement ring in the attachment to the gearbox. The blades and bits are replaceable.
