In the spreader sector, the Veronese company Rotomec (headquartered in Nogara), which specializes in the design and manufacture of technologies for working the soil as well as garden solutions, launches a machine specifically designed for spreading corrosive products.

We are talking of the Poly-Hop model, built with high resistance materials, designed to work with aggressive products. The polyethylene hopper and the stainless steel parts, such as the adjustable spreading vanes, the bottom, and the distribution doors, provide all the reliability required by a spreader intended for heavy-duty applications. Poly-Hop is flexible and multi-purpose - the manufacturer says in a technical note - and is suitable both for treatments with granular and powder fertilizers. It can also be used, in winter, as a salt and sand spreader. The basic equipment includes a fixed agitator, but it is also possible to choose the optional wheel agitator.

Depending on the version, the hopper is available with capacities of 105, 150, and 250 liters, up to a maximum of 350 for the top-of-the-range model.  The Rotomec spreader has a relatively contained power requirement since it can be combined with tractors delivering from 16 to 50 horsepower, with a 540 rpm PTO.
