Agrimix smart fertilization

The Saving System, patented by Agrimix based in Fossano (Cuneo), is an innovative electronic control technology designed to distribute fertilizer in a selective and localized way. Saving System consists of an operating unit, which can be managed by the operator easily and intuitively, and of a hydraulic regulation device regulated by two sensors. According to the manufacturer from Piedmont, the System enables to reduce consistently (up to 60%, according to the manufacturer from Piedmont) the quantity of product used for fertilizing operations.

Indeed, the System developed by Agrimix is a smart device able to distinguish the areas to be treated from the areas that do not require fertilizer, to exclude weeds from the plants to be fertilized, thus avoiding unnecessary consumption of fertilizer. Moreover, with its high-tech sensors and its new generation software, Saving System can perform treatments with any distribution width to adapt to the size of the rows, and it can work with any forward speed. This constructive solution enables the user to operate independently on two rows allowing, even in the case of plants not perfectly aligned or spaced, to adapt the distribution to irregular planting patterns.

The technology patented by the Fossano-based company can be used with the different versions of the  AGRIMIX RP2X/F HYDRAULIC fertilizer spreader equipped with hydraulic controls.
