A machine designed to optimize the fertilizer distribution and work with different types of products, from granular (small, medium, or large size) to pelleted.  This is the SPW double-disc fertilizer spreader line, manufactured by Gamberini from Funo from Argelato (Bologna) in three different versions, 600, 800, and 1000.

As the manufacturer himself points out, the spreader has four selection positions that, by acting on the blade length and inclination, enable the operator to choose the spreading width (from a minimum of 12 to a maximum of 24 meters) according to the type of fertilizer used. The frame, solid, is suited to the heaviest use, while the hopper - which can be tipped - facilitates coupling operations to the tractor, cleaning, and maintenance.

SPW fertilizer spreaders' basic equipment includes, in addition to stainless steel dispensers with three adjustable holes and distributor disks with four adjustable vanes (also made of stainless steel) for each plate, multipliers with oil-bath gears, and a cast-iron box. The independent opening system of the dispensers can be coupled or separated to distribute the fertilizer on the right, left, or an entire field, and the accident-prevention filtering grid and two spring agitators to mix the fertilizer.

On this line of fertilizer spreaders, the Emilian company has provided a wide range of accessories that includes, among others, a double conveyor for the distribution of fertilizer on the rows, a hydraulic control, or a manual flex cable to manage the opening of the two outlets of the fertilizer, a light kit, a trolley to carry the spreader with both fixed and adjustable track.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the possibility of hooking the SPW fertilizer spreaders to the PL 6/97 crane (always by Gamberini) to lift the 600 kg containers, thus allowing a single user to carry out the loading and fertilizer distribution operations.
