4.0 technology for the David/Compact Fruit spreader

A 4.0 spreader that can operate with a wide range of products. Mineral or organic-pelleted fertilizers for the organic sector, powder fertilizers, and seeds. It has been designed and manufactured by Eurospand-Cavallo, a company based in Boves, Cuneo.

This is the David/Compact Fruit model, a versatile machine that can be used both for localized distribution on rows and for open field and greenhouse treatments. As a matter of fact, its compact size makes it possible for the spreader to vary the working width from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 12 meters (for open field operations), still offering a good loading capacity (1,000 liters).

The other main feature of the David/Compact Fruit is the hopper which, unlike other models on the market, is not equipped with a stirrer but with a vibrating base. This technology, called Vibrosystem, prevents the overheating of the fertilizer and prevents its possible deterioration. It is precisely the Vibrosystem device - the manufacturer says in a technical note - that enables the machine to work with a wide variety of products, including those for organic farming.

One of the main strengths of the David/Compact Fruit is the onboard electronics, which makes it possible for the spreader to interface with Isobus systems, manage prescription maps, use parallel guidance systems, and control sections and overlaps.

The basic equipment can be implemented with the innovative weighing technology that controls the delivery of the product on-demand, minimizing waste and over-fertilization.

The inclinometer applied on the weighing system detects any possible inclination of the machine in real-time, enabling to automatically modify the fertilizer flow and keep constant the distributed quantities.
