Sirio and Majus, two new models from Valentini

Valentini, a Padua-based company that has been manufacturing soil cultivation equipment for over 50 years, is starting 2026 with two new products. Making its debut in the stone crushing segment is Sirio, a compact machine designed to be coupled with high-capacity skid loaders. Designed to operate in confined and difficult-to-access environments - such as cycle paths, mountain trails and roads with limited traffic - it is versatile and adaptable to various other applications, wherever a high-capacity skid loader is available.

Valentini emphasizes the solid and easy-to-handle structure of Sirio, capable of crushing small and medium-sized stones. The hood is made of Hardox, ensuring robustness and long life even in harsh conditions. The internal counter blade doses the material input, while a hydraulically adjustable rear wrap-around grill allows for finer and more controlled processing. The machine's distinctive features include a high-performance 180 cc hydraulic motor, a gear transmission designed and built in the Padua-based manufacturer's factory, and a rotor with 25 cm diameter spikes made of high-strength, wear-resistant steel. Sirio has a working width of 1,580 mm and a working depth of between 7 (on rock bed) and 15 cm (on rough terrain). It has a flow rate of 110-170 l/minute and an operating pressure of 220-350 bar. The machine weighs 1,200 kg.

On the tiller front, the new version of Majus makes its debut, with significant structural and functional updates starting from the adjustable floating hood designed for working on damp terrain and during the winter season: the hood lowers itself and cleans itself, preventing the buildup of material. Furthermore, the solution developed by the company from Camposampiero (Padua) allows the fineness of the tillage to be modulated: the closer the hood is to the rotor, the finer the tilled soil will be. The Majus cutter features a reinforced structure with bolted modular elements that allow for a flexible configuration and make maintenance easier. The hydraulic cylinders are extended on the two arms, the central and highly-resistant transmissions are designed to withstand intense and prolonged stresses.

Closer up: Majus is equipped with a universal 3-point hitch (Category 3N and 4L N) and an attachment for oscillating front bars. Its anchors come with a mechanical safety bolt connected to the transmission and internal idle side. The reinforced rotor has a diameter of 540 mm with high-strength steel flanges, six hoes per flange and a fixed central 1” 3/4 Z20 cardan shaft, which is flanked by lateral cardan shafts with disc clutches (up to the 5700 model) and cam clutches (from the 6200 model). The Majus series consists of seven models with power requirements ranging from 200 to 450 hp. The width varies from 4.2 meters in the 4200 model to 7.2 meters in the 7200 model, and the number of hoes increases as the models increase, from 96 to 168. The working depth is 28 cm for all machines in the line.
