Stability and durability for the Agrimax Proharvest tire
The Agrimax Proharvest VF 1020/55 R38 CFO is a tire for large self-propelled vehicles and is one of the main innovations that the Indian multinational BKT is presenting at Agritechnica. Designed to reduce soil compaction, improve machine stability and offer greater load capacity, the Agrimax Proharvest VF 1020/55 R38 CFO has a diameter of over two meters, which generates a wide and distributed footprint, reducing ruts and structural damage to the soil. VF-CFO technology makes it possible to work with very low pressures – down to 1.1 bar with over 10 tons per tire – and to travel at speeds of up to 40–50 km/h on the road and with loads of up to 14 tons. Another distinctive element of the tire is its 38” rim, an innovation compared to the traditional 32” configurations which render the vehicle even more stable, not only when working on slopes, but also when travelling on roads. Also worth mentioning is the steel-belted polyester carcass, which prevents flat-spotting (the flattening of the tyres when a vehicle is stationary for too long) and consequently maintains the tire's performance. Obviously, the AGRIMAX PROHARVEST retains all of the traditional strengths of the range: resistance to cuts thanks to specific compounds, high traction with an open shoulder design, the ability to tolerate temporary overloads thanks to CFO (Cyclic Field Operations) technology, and long operating life.
