Technology advanced maintenance to create a new paradigm in green management. This is the goal with which Ama introduces Yarbo, a solution that goes beyond the traditional concept of a robot lawnmower. The system is built around Yarbo Core, a modular robotic platform designed to integrate various operational functions—from lawn mowing to maintenance and transport—into a single machine. This architecture allows the robot to adapt over time, making it a suitable solution for both private use and professional applications.

Wireless Navigation. The navigation system completely eliminates the perimeter wire, combining RTK-GPS, artificial vision and advanced sensors. Binocular cameras (120°, F2.3, 2 MP), combined with ultrasonic sensors and side cameras allow for obstacle recognition and classification and continuous navigation even without a GPS signal, for example under trees or near covering structures. The robot can handle surfaces up to 25,000 square meters, which can be divided into eight sub-zones, and uses a Smart parallel cutting logic that optimizes paths, prevents overlaps and reduces trampling down of the lawn.

Eight-blade. Plate Ama points out that the lawnmower module has been designed to ensure quality and operational continuity. The 50cm cutting deck uses a double-disc system with eight bi-directionally rotating blades to improve cutting quality and extend component life. The height is electrically adjustable from 30 to 102 mm, while the safety system makes the immediate stop of the blades possible. The Yarbo Pro version is equipped with 300 W×2 cutting motors, adjustable height from 20 to 102 mm, rigid or razor-type mulching blades, reinforced discs and an anti-clogging system. This configuration makes it possible to work even on grass up to 30 cm high or on dense, wet vegetation.

AI Support. The system utilizes a built-in spatial artificial intelligence architecture consisting of six cameras, ultrasonic radar and an intelligent bumper. The robot can recognize people, animals and obstacles, and adapt its path automatically and in real time. Safety is ensured by the immediate stoppage of the blades, the lift sensor, the emergency button and obstacle detection on all sides. Yarbo can tackle slopes up to 70% (35°) and obstacles up to 5 cm, with an App-adjustable speed of up to 2.15 km/h and a noise level of just 60 dB. The ABS structure and IPX5 protection rating provide resistance to atmospheric agents and the ability to wash directly with water. The machine is equipped with a 38 Ah (1.38 kWh, 20V) lithium-ion battery which works for up to two hours under standard conditions and recharges in approximately 90 minutes.

The system is completely autonomous, automatically returns to the base, recharges (contactless station) and resumes work from the point where it left off. It can perform up to seven cycles per day, covering up to 6,880 square meters per day. It is operated using an App (iOS and Android), with full connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G and Wi-Fi, HaLow (for extended coverage). The system allows for programming (manually or with a timer), remote control and teleoperation, push notifications, automatic software updates and voice interaction. The machine has a built-in LED graphic display, keypad, battery level indicator and thermal switch. Distinctive elements worth mentioning include the integrated Bluetooth speakers, which allow for audio playback during use.

The Strength of Modularity. Ama says that the real strength of the system is its modularity. In addition to the lawnmower module, Yarbo can be configured for use with a snow thrower, blower, edger, and other accessories are currently being developed. A tow hook lets the robot move loads weighing up to 1,600 kg. The machine is CE certified and also designed for transport, thanks to the built-in double handle. "Yarbo – states the Ama Group – is an autonomous and modular robotic platform designed to offer precision, continuity and adaptability. It is a solution that moves green maintenance towards a more advanced, efficient and intelligent model".
