Merlo presented a revamped version of its TF65.9 at the Agritechnica and Ecomondo trade fairs held this past November in Hanover and Rimini, respectively. The overhaul does not stop at aesthetics, but rather reflects in-depth engineering work aimed at increasing the reliability, maintainability and performance of the telehandler. Thanks to its high load capacity and versatility, the TF65.9 can be used in various sectors, from agriculture to agro-industrial, on up to the handling of heavy materials. Some of the key features Merlo offers on its new model include the leveling cylinder with tapered pin, which compensates for wear and eliminates the need to replace the component, oversized pins and bushings for greater structural strength, and a redesigned hydraulic and electrical layout to facilitate service and maintenance operations. Other noteworthy innovations introduced by the Piedmont-based manufacturer include the guards that shield the components from mud and debris, and the updated lubrication system, which simplifies maintenance and extends the life of the rotating parts of the carriage. And that's not all. In fact, the technicians of the Cuneo-based company (headquartered in San Defendente di Cervasca) have also improved the distribution of forces and the fluidity of movement during the rotation phase of the carriage, thus optimizing the work with the shovel, especially for the excavation and movement of the inert material.
