The technology and performance of the New Holland T4.120F Auto Command
Although not available until mid-2026, expectations following its first public appearance at Agritechnica 2025 are already high. New Holland’s T4.120F Auto Command is indeed a major innovation for the specialty tractor segment, introducing its in-house developed continuously variable transmission with a 50km/h ECO mode and a high-capacity 115l/min Closed Centre Load Sensing (CCLS) hydraulic system. The continuously variable transmission manages the power output of the 120 Hp engine, adapting it to the task at hand, and provides high torque at low revs for transport, reaching 50 km/h on the road at just 1780 rpm. In addition to the high capacity hydraulic system, according to New Holland, the T4.120F features one of the quietest cabs in the industry, with noise levels as low as 71 dB(A). The new compact ergonomic SideWinder armrest attached to the seat adapts to the seating position, allowing operators to have complete control of the tractor and implements with just one hand. The Comfort Ride suspended cab offers high all-round visibility, complemented by a Terraglide floating front axle to tackle the roughest terrain. Advanced ergonomic controls and telematics integration ensure precision and connectivity in large fields and specialized growing environments. New Holland has in fact made the T4.120F a smart tractor with full telematics integration, connectivity and precision farming features as standard. The fully integrated IntelliSteer Auto Guidance system is operated via a 12-inch IntelliView display. IntelliTurn technology provides full steering and throttle automation during headland turns, while Headland Turn Sequence II manages implement functions via GPS triggers. The style is also new, with integrated LED work lights all around, higher-category headlights and an even lower hood for better visibility. All in New Holland blue with light grey details and graphics. The T4.120F will be available in an exclusive Blue Power version, featuring distinctive midnight blue metallic paintwork, a chrome grille, silver wheels and a Blue Power emblem on the roof.
