The Unifox transplanter by Checchi & Magli (Budrio - Bologna) was presented at Agritechnica in world premiere. The company’s core business is machines for transplanting seedlings of vegetables, tobacco and nurseries, in which it is a world leader, with a stable export share at around 80% of total revenue.

With Unifox, Checchi & Magli replaces and improves the performance and precision of the Fox transplanter, a “must” of the Emilian company. Unifox is a flexible machine that can be considered a true universal transplanter, keeping the same features and the proven pincer transplant system for both bare-root and clod seedlings, which were already featured in the previous version. The new transplanter is a particularly evolved machine. Each transplant unit is equipped with front wheel drive, which increases traction, improving the adaptation to the ground and maximizing precision in the transplant distance between plants. The Unifox transplanter is available in versions from 1 to 6 rows, and can be personalized according to the many uses. It is also available in a DT version with double frame (2 to 7 rows) for inter-row distances under 50 cm, down to a minimum of 25 cm. The extreme ease of use makes it suitable even for non-specialized labour.
