Important recognition for New Holland's BigBaler 1290 High Density, which last December received the Good Design Award in the Industrial category. Organized by the Chicago Athenaeum and sponsored by the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the prize is awarded by a jury made up of professional designers, journalists and design critics. But Good Design is only the latest of the awards that New Holland has received for the new BigBaler, also winner of the silver medal for innovation and the “Machine of the Year 2020” at Agritechnica in Hanover.

"We are honoured to receive this prestigious award - said Carlo Lambro, New Holland brand president - which recognizes New Holland's ability to put innovation at the service of its customers, always pushing the limits in terms of productivity and efficiency".

Not only aesthetically appealing, but also technologically advanced, the New Holland BigBaler 1290 High Density - a company note reads - produces bales with a density up to 22% higher than traditional giant square balers. Indeed, thanks to the new MaxiSweepTM pickup, the product is input at higher speeds. Furthermore, the roto-baler is equipped with all the most advanced systems, such as the patented Loop MasterTM, which provides strong binding free of twine residues, or the SmartShift transmission systemTM, which offers a gradual start of the machine. Operator comfort was also improved, with an intuitive user interface that uses the IntelliViewTM IV touchscreen monitor, and with a number of automated features, such as the IntelliCruiseTM system, which automatically adjusts the tractor's speed.
