Carraro Agritalia strengthens partnerships with CLAAS and Massey Ferguson
Carraro Agritalia, a leading manufacturer of specialized and utility trtactors for the largest global OEMs, is adding two more important collaborations to its portfolio: Massey Ferguson and CLAAS. Let's start with the AGCO brand which, after its presentation at Agritechnica, is introducing the new MF 3 Speciality series, the latest generation of specialized tractors equipped with the Dyna-VT transmission. This transmission is the result of the collaboration between Massey Ferguson and Carraro and combines hydrostatic and mechanical modules in a compact, electronically managed layout. This allows for seamless torque modulation, increasing fuel efficiency and improving ride comfort even on the most challenging terrain. The MF 3 Speciality Series benefits from Carraro's modular architecture and an electronic control unit compliant with ISO 25119 functional safety standards, improving performance, reliability and safety. Both companies emphasize how the collaboration is aimed at providing a complete range of solutions to meet the most diverse needs of end users.
The agreement between Carraro and CLAAS is moving on the same wavelength. Designed by the Italian group and developed as a key feature of the new Nexos 2 Cmatic tractor model in a joint program between the two manufacturers, the Carraro CVT transmission represents a new impetus for continuously variable transmission technology for compact and specialty tractors. At the presentation of the new German tractor at the end of 2025, the value of the partnership between Claas and Carraro was repeatedly highlighted, which reflects a shared vision of high-performance solutions tailored to agricultural businesses. Carraro emphasizes that this launch reinforces the group's commitment to providing scalable, high-tech transmission systems and is fully integrated into the broader AG+ strategy, which is based on the development of modular transmission platforms and electrification.
