In the exhibition area at Eima International 2014, the tunnel-sprayers by Azienda Agricolmeccanica from Torviscosa (Udine) promise to catch the visitors' attention. Yet appreciated on both Italian and foreign markets for their “green technology” – thanks to a product recycling system –  the devices of the Drift Recovery line have proved to limit the consumption of pesticides and hence to moderate the impact of phytosanitary treatments on the environment. An important result, if we take into account the regulatory restriction of chemicals in agriculture. The recovery system developed by Agricolmeccanica guarantees a high standard of quality in processes, is capable of operating in case of wind (the diffuser's ventilation is adjustable) and has a positive influence on farms' operating costs: optimizing the distribution of treatments reduces the quantity of product released in the environment. At the Bolognese event, the role of the standard-bearer of the Drift Recovery series will be assigned to the top-of-the-range model, the Drift Recovery 3000 Friuli Sprayers, equipped with a high-capacity tank (3,000 liters), a patented twin axle with timed electro-hydraulic control and a third axle (patented as well) with automatic movement and two rear wheels which get to the middle of the carriageway (ideal in case of wet areas or heavy rain). The innovation of the Drift Recovery 3000 Friuli Sprayers consists in the introduction of a computer with 8 programs (such as the possibility of printing-out worksheets), capable of improving the machine's versatility and of increasing its performance.
