In keeping with their tradition, Merlo in San Defendente, near Cuneo, unveiled the leading new products for the 2015 season at EIMA International 2014. In the segment of heavy duty modular machines the spotlight in Bologna was trained on the TF45.11 telescopic handler making its world debut in the 156 HP version. The new TF45.11 telehandler is designed especially for heavy duty work and for this comes equipped with the most advanced Merlo technologies for reducing fuel consumption, with Eco Power Drive as standard equipment. The cab with CS hydropneumatic suspension is the most roomy in the category to ensure great comfort for the operator and, on the side of safety, features type-approved ROPS and FOPS level 2 (rollover and falling objects protection systems) and dynamic load control as standard equipment. In addition to these winning characteristics the TF45.11 vaunts great versatility in operations thanks not only to the rear mechanical PTO but also to the possibility of type-approval for using the handler as a tractor for towing up to 20 tons and the new CVTronic transmission for fluid acceleration up the torque range from 0 to 40 km/hr. In the same heavy duty segment, other than the TF45.11 are the TF 50.8 articulated models available in four versions. Merlo can rightly claim great flexibility for their Multifarmer handlers capable of working with a range of implements mounted on their rear three-point linkage.

Among the medium duty machines in the TF lines are the TF38.7, TF38.10 and the TF42.7 which came to the market a few months ago. These handlers have load capacity beginning at 3400 kg and lift height from 7 to 10 meters plus, as standard equipment CDC, dynamic load control, and EPD, Eco Power Drive. Also standard is the CVTronic continuously variable transmission and load-sensing hydraulics plus the assurance that these robust machine provide great performance as well as lowered fuel consumption.

Among the super compact telehandlers is the restyled 25.6 type-approved as an agricultural tractor for towing up to 9 tons. The changes made by Merlo on this machine involved mainly performance which is now more lively with the introduction of a vigorous hydrostatic engine providing 10% more torque at low speed. The renewed 25.6 can also travel at speeds of up to 40 km/hr and reach this speed smoothly. The roomy cab provides the operator with the top level of comfort in the category.

In the range of Merlo compacts the new models are the 32.6 and 28.8 which mount 100 Hp Tier 4 Interim engines and more powerful hydraulics available with Flow-Sharing. The professional high capacity handlers come as standard equipment with hydropneumatic suspension, the EPD system and and CDC and are coming out with 156 Hp Tier Interim engines and new hydraulics for the bigger models. Brand new 175 Hp 4.5 Tier 4 Interim engines are now the power plants for the high capacity telehandlers.

Alongside the new Cingo multi-purpose tracked carriers equipped with speed regulators, prominent in the Merlo exhibition space at EIMA International, were the Tre Emme Tool Carriers represented in Bologna by the MM150VR and the MM160MC models. The first is a machine built for municipalities, contractors and in general for all operators requiring high performance for the precise and reliable management of tools. The MM150VR is equipped with a lateral telescopic boom providing access down the steepest slopes and up to the tallest plants. The MM160MC, on the other hand, is a new Tre Emme concept for the most versatile operations performed by transforming the carrier to meet the various needs of the end-user.
