The third edition of RIVE, the International Viticulture and Enology Exhibition organized by Pordenone Fiere in partnership with FederUnacoma, moves to the end of 2021. Scheduled from 26 to 28 January next year, the event was postponed to 3, 4 and 5 November 2021 due to the health emergency which called into question the exhibition calendar of Pordenone Fiere and that of international sector events.
“In deciding on the new location of RIVE 2021 we have tried to avoid overlaps both with the major international events in the wine and viticulture sector and with regional events, to allow exhibiting companies to participate in all the initiatives, explained Renato Pujatti, president of Pordenone Exhibitions. On the other hand, we have also chosen an optimal period for professionals who are not too busy with work operations and in line with the schedule of our exhibition complex”.  After the 2021 edition, RIVE will once again be held according to the original biennial programming, in January of the odd years. Strongly rooted in the local territory, but with a declared international vocation, RIVE can count on the collaboration of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Assoenologi, Consorzio Doc Fvg, and Ersa Regional Agency for Rural Development. The RIVE 2021 team is completed by Unacma, the National Union of Agricultural Machinery Dealers.
The leitmotif of the third edition of RIVE is sustainability, a very topical and crucial theme for both consumers and manufacturers. This is an issue around which innovative strategies are being developed not only for vine cultivation, but also for value creation.
