The Massey Ferguson  MF 9305 Xtra telehandler opened the way in 2015 and now many of the manufacturer’s new innovations equipping this machine are being extended to other models in the MF 9000 Series, the MF 9306 Xtra, MF 9407 Xtra and the MF 9407S Xtra. Leading the way among the features for the telehandler range is the brand new Smart Handling System (SHS) that uses the display menu to allow the operator to set the maximum available hydraulic flow for smoother and more precise loading. Another innovation is the new ECO mode, operated via a switch in the cab to manage oil flow and engine RPM to reduce fuel consumption. For their MF 9000 Series, Massey Ferguson is also planning a new optional multifunction joystick close to the hand of the operator which incorporates all the main controls needed for driving the telehandler forward, in reverse or idling and managing all the boom and attachments operations for speedy loading of organic fertilizers or all functions for accurately positioning bales or pallets. A digital display screen located on the dashboard shows essential vehicle and loading information. With new features for the U.S. manufacturer’s machines already considered efficient and flexible, Massey Ferguson has also achieved another objective not only for maneuverability but lift height and load capacity for guaranteeing optimum performance for a wide range of operations. Jean Benoit-Ozon, Product Marketing Manager for the Massey Ferguson telehandler division, commented, “The innovations introduced for the MF 9000 Series improve operations and functions to make of these models ideal work instruments for many farms as well as contractors.”
