From September 25 to 27 the first edition of the Vita in Campagna (Country Life) Garden Show will open for the more than 3.5 million Italians with a green thumb and for gardening operators. The show is organized by the magazine of Edizioni L’Informatore Agrario in partnership with the Scuola Agraria di Monza (Agricultural School of Monza), the Consorzio Villa Reale and the Park of Monza, with the patronage of FederUnacoma and Fieragricola. This is the only event in Italy where for a whole weekend over 6 hectares of the Agricultural School in the Monza park will host dynamic trials and live shows of the most advanced machines and equipment for gardening and dotted with a hundred stands, enabling the comparison of various brands and models of mowers, riders, tillers, trimmers, cultivators, chain saws and hedge trimmers of the leading companies in the industry, as well as buying seeds, plants and small tools.

Following the success recorded in five editions of the Vita in Campagna Show, free courses are scheduled on the cultivation of fruit and vegetables and how to perform proper composting of domestic and pruning waste, given by experts of the Agricultural School of the Monza Park.

There are many things that make the event interesting. “In addition to watching the live demonstrations, enthusiasts and professionals can register and try for themselves the functionality of many machines in various situations - previews Giorgio Vincenzi, director of Vita in Campagna. Do not miss the Tree climbing demonstrations, a technique used to climb on plants with the aid of ropes, carried out by some of the best specialized instructors in Italy. These green acrobats will show live how to intervene on trees with maximum mobility from the inside to the outside of the crown and carry out pruning, felling and consolidations”.

The event programme kicks off Friday, with two specialized workshops for maintenance workers, gardening companies, gardeners, designers, and public administrations, organized in collaboration with the weekly L’Informatore Agrario (The Agricultural Informant) and the monthly MAD - Macchine Agricole Domani (Agricultural Machinery Tomorrow).

Every day there will be training courses open to everyone, held by specialists of the Agricultural School of Monza Park: • 10:30 (vegetable garden area): organic gardening with Antonio Corbari. • 11:30 (composting area): how to perform home composting properly by Maurizio Ferrandina. • 14:30 (orchard area): cultivating a family orchard by Pio Rossi. • 11:00 and 16:00: Tree Climbing demonstration by experts of the Agricultural School of Monza.
