The new New Holland TK4 cab for tracked utility vehicles is presented in a world premiere at Agriumbria 2018. Available on four of the thirteen models in the range, for the “mountain” and “full-field” versions, the new New Holland cab has been designed to maximize operator comfort. The new optional low-frequency pneumatic suspension seat is available across the entire range, drastically reducing the vibrations and jolts traditionally felt by operators using tracked tractors. The seat is also equipped with electro-pneumatic weight adjustment and new padding. In addition to the new seat, the TK4 Series cab has a full range of new features: a metal plate prevents hot air and dust flowing from the engine compartment and reaching the operator; the air conditioning system is equipped with more powerful fans, with which the flow of fresh air inside the cab is more constant and better distributed. The overall comfort of the TK4 Series is improved not only by the internal improvements, but also by the exclusive rubber track SmartTrax system, the only one that integrates the flexibility of rubber with the durability of steel, which allows both road circulation and a reduction of vibrations. Then there is the Steering-O-Matic Plus system that gives the operator total control of the vehicle with just one hand, leaving the other free to operate the hydraulic controls. “Thanks to this new cab and its excellent equipment - said Sean Lennon, Head of Tractors Product Line of New Holland Agriculture - we can provide to farmers who work under very demanding conditions a level of comfort that is appropriate to their needs”. “For over 90 years - added Lennon - New Holland has dedicated the utmost attention to those who entrust their productivity and safety to our tracked tractors, interpreting their needs and translating them into machines and systems capable of carrying out every operation, with maximum results and minimum effort”.
