Caffini offers the market the new range of Striker ST self-propelled sprayers, created in collaboration with Bosch Rexroth and intended for open field work. The machine, presented at Fieragricola last February, was designed by the Verona-based technicians – Caffini's headquarters are in Palù, in the province of Verona – to improve the production efficiency of farms thanks to the use of the latest generation technologies, such as autonomous driving and precision farming systems with which it is equipped.

Among the latter, AG Drive stands out, the new traction management software platform, created by Bosch Rexroth, which allows you to work in the field, up to a maximum of 25 km/h, and on the road to reach 50 km/h. In addition, thanks to the Traction Force Distribution mode, the pulling force of the sprayer is distributed in different percentages on the four wheels of the Striker, depending on the slope of the terrain. This is made possible thanks to the data that the inertial sensors send to the AG Drive.

Among the other pluses of the sprayer, there is the Eco Mode function, which automatically adjusts the revolutions of the internal combustion engine according to the type of processing in which the machine is used, consequently reducing consumption. The software also allows you to manage the automatic switching on or off of the motor according to the required speed. The sprayer's equipment is completed by ABS and ASC (Anti Slip Control) systems that improve operator safety.
