There are three innovations in the horticultural product sector being presented in Hannover by Hortech of Agna (Padua). The first is the SLIDE VALERIANA ECO, an electric machine for harvesting valerian, featuring an automated system for loading and unloading the bins, operated by PLC and microprocessor made by Hortech. The SLIDE VALERIANA ECO features the latest three-phase asynchronous motors, which are brushless and therefore maintenance-free. In addition, it comes with new 48V 450A/h power batteries, which last up to 16 hours, with an integrated charger. The innovative combtype ribbon system is positioned above the rack to better accompany the product, and the steering is fully electric with a wide radius of 75°. The second is the SLIDE FW XL harvester, ideal for harvesting baby leaf such as arugula, spinach and all leafy products grown in greenhouses or in the field. It has a load capacity of approximately 1,000/1,200 kg. This new version features the latest generation hydraulic system and four steering wheels that make the machine particularly manoeuvrable even in tight spaces. Lastly, also on display, the HOOVER XL is a model that represents the evolution of the Hoover Maxi. This powerful suction machine is designed for the fourth range to clean crop residue and leaves. It features a laterally translating cutting bar and a driving seat positioned as far forward as possible, to have full control of the cutting bar and the four steering wheels. The drive system allows the operator to set a specific speed and keep it constant. HOOVER XL is equipped with an expanded waste bin which can be raised up to a height of 200 cm (from ground level to the bottom of the container), in order to be tipped and opened to unload the crop residues. Thanks to this lifting system, the product can be unloaded directly on a trailer.
