Last February, STIGA announced the production of a new line of battery-powered implements, the 300e Series, which consists of four different types of machines for hobby and professional landscaping. The first of the new products is the HT 300e hedge trimmer, designed for the most demanding gardening tasks. Thanks to the dual ePower battery - the manufacturer explains - the lHT 300e can work for one hour on a single charge, while the 54 cm laser-cut blade in hardened steel and the tooth opening of up to 23 mm ensure an efficient and precise cut even with medium-thick branches. To ensure greater safety when trimming walls and paths, the blade has a protected tip. The ergonomic handle is adjustable and can rotate 180° in 'wall-cutting' mode, preventing the user from turning around to reach difficult spots. In the blower segment, Stiga offers the BL 300e model, which is capable of producing a high-speed jet of air to remove leaves and debris, even in high humidity. A full battery charge allows work for up to 40 minutes. Battery, which Stiga engineers have placed at the rear of the machine in order to better balance the weight of the blower. The overview of the main features of the BL 300e model closes with the release button that allows the hose to be easily removed. Equipped with 2x20V (2Ah) ePower batteries, the GT 300e brushcutter provides more than 30 minutes of autonomy and features an ergonomic ,adjustable ring handle, which makes it easy to use the trimmer to remove weeds and achieve precise edging. The pluses of the GT 300e include the ability to switch from cutting mode to trimming mode at the touch of a button, and the stone-guard device equipped with a wheel which protects the user even more. The rotating head is adjustable up to 45° and is supported by a spacer bracket that improves precision cutting even around plants and obstacles. For pruning branches or cutting logs Stiga offers the CS 300e chainsaw, the first with 2x20V (4Ah) ePower batteries. The combination of the two batteries ensures increased power and optimum cutting performance, even with 120 mm diameter logs. To ensure user safety, the CS 300e features an electronic/mechanical chain lock and 3-click activation, as well as a comfortable rear handle for greater stability during work. A further advantage is STIGA's rapid tensioning system, which allows the chain to be tensioned effortlessly.
