A new version for the versatile SUPERSOIL by Seppi, which implements the technological equipment of its mulcher & crusher with the 2SPEED POWERSHIFT system. The innovation by the engineers of the company from Caldaro (Bolzano) simplifies the operation of the machine, which can now change working speed quickly and intuitively thanks to the controls on the display located in the tractor cab. The SUPERSOIL model, which is popular as a slow rotary tiller, is designed to crush stones up to 40 cm in diameter, work up to 30 cm deep into the ground, mulch large logs and grind wood up to 50 cm in diameter. All in a single pass. But the Supersoil, thanks to the 2SPEED POWERSHIFT technology, can also be used for those soil preparation operations that require crushing stones and tree stumps, carrying out the typical work of a mulcher or a forestry cutter. The system introduced by the South Tyrolean company includes two gears positioned in the rotor, which are controlled by the central gearbox with electro-hydraulic clutch. The gearbox, explains the company from Caldaro, has been designed to maintain the same speed as the tractor's PTO while changing the rotation speed of the rotor. The first gear allows the tiller to prepare the ground by working in depth with stones and stumps with reduced power absorption (even in the case of particularly heavy-duty operations); the second gear doubles the speed of the rotor to break up stumps and wood (large and small) on the ground surface. For operators who need a high-performance machine, several types of tools are available: from the ULTRA MONO PROTECT V-LOCK, which can crush stones, stabilise the soil and chop plants, to the ULTRA-TIP V-LOCK, which can chop stumps up to 80 cm in diameter. Finally, ULTRA PICK V-LOCK is a tool designed to stabilise very stony ground and grind asphalt up to 8 cm thick.
