Campagnola, a Bologna-based company specialising in the production of pruning and harvesting machinery, completes its range of products dedicated to non-intensive operations on green areas, GREEN Line, with a new electric chain pruner with plug-in battery, the T-Cat. Suitable for operations in orchards, olive groves and vineyards or simply for finishing, the latest addition to the GREEN Line range can cut branches and shrubs up to a maximum of 8 cm in diameter. The ¼" chain has 29 links and is inserted on a 4" bar and can reach a speed of 6 m/sec, reads a note issued by the company. The T-Cat is driven by a brushless motor which, powered by a battery and controlled by an electronic card, reaches 300 W of power. The ergonomic non-slip handle and the low weight (1.050 kg) including battery contribute to making the pruner comfortable. To improve working comfort, the user can attach the tool to his belt with a special holster. On the other hand, the structure of the T-Cat has been designed by the Emilian company's technicians so as not to tire the operator's arm and to allow him maximum freedom of movement. The new pruner is supplied with two plug-in lithium batteries, with a nominal voltage of 10.8 V (12.6 V max) and a capacity of 2.5 Ah; this allows a battery life of about 50 cuts.
