L9 flex, the shredder that fears no obstacles

A powerful and stable mulcher with variable trim for large areas, these are the main features of the L9 flex branded Seppi M. The heart of the new machine is the PENTALINK system, a device with two additional stabilisers connected to the tractor axle, which gives the mulcher of the South Tyrolean company a particularly stable trim.

Designed for landscaping, but above all for the maintenance of rivers, canals and ditches, the L9 flex can be used with tractors of between 100 and 180 hp and works with a lateral parallelogram shift to the right. Five working widths are available: 175, 200, 225, 250 and 275 cm.

Thanks to its hydraulic system, the new flail mower can reach an upward inclination of 90° and a downward inclination of 65°, making it ideal for the most demanding jobs and allowing it to reach the steepest terrain. One of the L9 flex's plus points is the FLEX-SAFE shock-absorbing system, which allows the operator to avoid obstacles by rotating the flail mower 25° backwards and gives him time to correct any manoeuvring errors.

This prevents damage to both the tractor and the machine. Also worth mentioning is the HELIX rotor with SEPPI SMO triple-propeller hammers which, according to a company note, ensures particularly quiet operation thanks to a lower working effort.

Furthermore, the highly durable hammers are able to chop grass and branches up to 9 mm in diameter. As standard, Seppi provides a small support roller under the base and a large-diameter roller to support the mulcher, which facilitates driving on uneven ground.
