John Deere's 225 E-Cut electric lawn mower made its national premiere at Myplant & Garden. The latest edition of the Milanese event took place last February and was an opportunity for the 'deer brand' to showcase its entire range of professional lawn care machines and the latest product innovations. The new lawn mower is equipped with two motors, one for traction and one for cutting, powered by a 58 Volt/3.56 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which provides - says the American manufacturer – long operating times, covering up to 5,000 square metres on a single charge (recharge time is about 5 hours). The pluses of the 225 E-Cut include the TechControl display - already present on the E-Cut Hybrid, TerrainCut and PrecisionCut series lawn mowers - which offers full control of the operating parameters. Contributing to the quality of grass mowing is the spherical joint between the machine and the cutting unit, which allows the latter to rotate in any direction and precisely follow both the undulations of the ground and, for example, the contours of a golf course green, while the twin drive rollers ensure straight travel. The public at the Milan event was able to take a closer look at the updated Z300 zero-turn mower range and the new Starfire 7000 receiver, a system that improves satellite coverage to make automatic guidance even more accurate, among other innovations on the John Deere stand.
